ഇപ്പോൾ മലയാള സിനിമ മക്കൾ മാഹാത്മ്യം എന്ന് പറയുന്നതുപോലെ സൂപർ സ്റ്റാറുകളുടെ മക്കളുടെ കാലഘട്ടം ആണല്ലോ കടന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്. മോഹൻലാലിൻറെ മകൻ പ്രണവും, മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ മകനായ ദുൽക്കറും, ഹാസ്യ നടനായ ഹരിശ്രീ അശോകന്റെ മകൻ അർജുൻ അശോകൻ അങ്ങനെ ഒരു താരനിര തന്നെ മലയാള സിനിമയിൽ ഉണ്ട്.ഹരിശ്രീ ഹാസ്യഭിനയം ആണെങ്കിൽ മകൻ അർജുൻ അശോകൻ അങ്ങനെ അല്ല, നടനായും, സ്വഭാവ നടനയായും ആണ് അർജുൻ ഇതുവരെയും ഉള്ള ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. &#8216;ഓർക്കൂട്ട് ഒരു ഓർമ്മകൂട്ട്&#8217; എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ ആണ് അർജുൻ അഭിനയ രംഗത്തു എത്തിയത്. പിന്നീട് താരം &#8216;പറവ&#8217; എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ നായക വേഷത്തിൽ എത്തിയിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് ഒരുപടി ചലിച്ചത്രങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമാകാൻ അർജുനനെ കഴിഞ്ഞു.
